Nick Aveling
Nick joined the firm in the summer of 2008, as a Property and Private Client Solicitor. Originally from New Zealand, where he was called to the Bar in 1998, he settled in the UK in 2001, qualifying as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2003.

Since joining the Firm, Nick has quickly utilised his experience and expertise in the areas of Wills, the creation of family trusts and the protection of assets of an individual or family. Nick has first hand experience of the legal issues involving protecting assets from care home subsidies and the effects that remarriage and intestacy can have on families.

Outside of work, Nick has a number of wide-ranging interests as diverse as local history, rural affairs, gardening, painting, DIY and the collection and restoration of antiques. When not in the office he can usually be found at the gym, having a glass of wine with friends or at a market looking for the next restoration project.
