Wills & Probate
Making a Will and reviewing it from time to time is the only sure way you can guarantee that on your death your estate goes to those people or organisations that you want to benefit.
Lyndales can help with expert, friendly and easy to understand advice as to how best to ensure that your wishes are carried out and how to mitigate inheritance tax or preserve assets both now and in the future.
Or perhaps you are an Executor or a member of a family that has recently suffered a loss. There may or may not be a will in place. Either way Lyndales can advise on whether or not you need to get a Grant from the Court (either a Grant of Probate if there is a Will or Letters of Administration if there is not), and then assist you in getting the assets in, paying the liabilities (including any inheritance tax) and making sure that the people who the deceased wanted to benefit, get the assets in accordance with the deceased’s wishes or in accordance with the Laws of Intestacy if no Will is made.
It is often a stressful and emotional time and not all people leave their affairs in good order. Whether you require us to undertake the complete administration of the Estate or simply provide a service of “hand holding”, we are there to help make the process as efficient and painless as possible.
